Wafa Hakim Orman is an economist and higher-ed administrator who loves working with data. She has long witnessed — and researched, and read the research on — the life-changing power of a college education, and is committed to using the power of analytics to help college students accomplish their goals.
Ryan Weber, Ph.D.
Director of Communications
Ryan Weber is a technical writer, writing teacher, and UX enthusiast. He received his PhD from Purdue University in 2009 and has 12 years of experience as a professor in higher ed. In 2014, he participated in a team that won funding from the Alabama Launchpad competition.
Alan Medders, Ph.D.
VP, Strategic Operations
Alan G. Medders, Ph.D., spent more than 25 years in public and private higher education and brings a wealth of leadership and administrative experience to RAGASEDU. Dr. Medders holds a BA from Samford University, a Master’s of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Tennessee including external graduate work at the University of Kentucky and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi.
Ray Brown

Ray Brown is an experienced and proven professional in B2B sales, business development and communications, as well as cross-functional executive leadership. A UAH grad with a major in Business Management and a minor in Communications, he has extensive experience in working with and building startups.
Jennifer Pettitt

Jennifer Pettitt is a marketing and academic advising professional with nearly two decades of higher ed experience. She has a passion for student success and loves helping students succeed on their academic journey. She holds an MBA from UAH and has also worked as a Marketing and Events Coordinator for Huntsville’s Broadway Theater League.
William Eubank
Director of Software Development
Will Eubank is an experienced software engineer effective in analyzing relevant information and guiding product cycle from conception to completion. With more than 25 years of software development, he holds a degree in Mathematics and an avid outdoors enthusiast.
William I. MacKenzie, Ph.D.
Chief Operating Officer
William I. MacKenzie is a management professor and former higher-ed administrator. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. During his time working with students he has learned firsthand the importance of data driven decisions to improve recruitment, retention, and graduation rates. In addition to his work with students, he brings his experience in accreditation management to the RAGASEDU team.
